Lux Mundi (2024)
Lux Mundi is a project I curated to mark the 900th anniversary of the consecration of Sant Climent de Taüll. An audiovisual experience that brings together Romanesque heritage and digital creativity, through an alliance as unexpected as it is powerful: the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage and the Directorate General of Innovation and Digital Culture — to whom I am deeply grateful for the opportunity!
Four artists and studios (Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries, and MASSO) reinterpreted the frescoes of the apse of Sant Climent —which have been housed at the MNAC for a century— and Tarta Relena provided the voice and sonic soul, building a bridge between past, present, and future.
It was a way of looking at Romanesque art from the present, with respect, light, and a touch of pixels.
A celebration of what connects us through time.
